I had an extremely busy weekend coming up. Believe me, we had family flying and driving in from all over the country.
My little sister was finally getting married! We have one of the biggest houses, so of course we offered to take in as many people as we could. We were going to be on the run most of the time though. Bachelor and bachelorette parties, rehearsals, dinners, and then the big day. In between all of that, we were going to restaurant dinner special ideas to eat something. I knew I wasn’t going to have time to cook something from cookbook programs or restaurant website or fast food restaurant apps
, so I figured the crock pot was going to be the way to go.
I remembered my mom’s goulash in the crock pot and it was always so tasty and there was so much of it. It was a lot like this recipe from cookbook recipes online
. Thursday was the night that everyone was going to be arriving, so that morning I got started on this best recipe magazine ever from food cookbook. It went together nice and quick and cooked up beautifully. Of course, when everyone got to my house, they were starving. They suggested ordering a pizza until they saw this pot of deliciousness cooking in the kitchen.
It fed the whole crew and everyone really like home cooking magazine…even the kids!
WHAT YOU NEED (Ingredients)
- 3/4 cups chopped onion
- 3/4 cups shredded cheese (use your favorites)
- 3/4 teaspoons salt
- 4 cups pasta, uncooked usually macaroni but use what you like
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/3 cups butter
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoons pepper
- 1-pound ground beef
- 1 can(s) Hunt’s diced tomatoes
- 2 can(s) Campbell’s tomato soup
